This 7-day Northern Kenya safari is a scenic road package offering a diverse journey through Kenya’s
most remarkable landscapes — from semi-arid wilderness and private conservancies to cool
mountain forests. Traveling in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide,
guests enjoy a gradual transition from Nairobi to the remote beauty of northern Kenya.
The safari begins in Samburu National Reserve, famous for its rare northern species and dramatic
river scenery. It then continues to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a leading wildlife conservancy renowned
for rhino protection and conservation initiatives. The journey concludes in the lush highland forests
of Aberdare National Park, offering a unique tree-lodge experience with nighttime wildlife viewing.

Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive north through Kenya’s central highlands.
En route, stop at the Equator line in Nanyuki, where guests can take memorable photos standing in
both hemispheres and enjoy a brief demonstration of the equatorial water experiment.
Continue to Samburu arriving in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Samburu, home to the “Samburu Special Five” — Grevy’s
zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk — as well as elephants, lions, and
leopards along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Morning and afternoon game drives across the semi-arid plains and riverine forests. Samburu offers
excellent opportunities to spot large elephant herds and predators in a less crowded setting.
Optional cultural visit to a Samburu village.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Another full day dedicated to wildlife viewing. Early morning game drive followed by relaxation at the
lodge before an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Maisha
Camp, a comfortable tented camp offering views of the surrounding wilderness.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive within the conservancy. Visit:
• The Chimpanzee Sanctuary
• Rhino conservation areas
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Maisha Camp.
Morning and afternoon game drives within Ol Pejeta, known for high rhino populations and strong
conservation programs.

• Visiting the last remaining northern white rhinos (Najin & Fatu)
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Maisha Camp.
After breakfast, depart for Aberdare region and transfer to The Ark Lodge, a unique tree lodge
overlooking a floodlit waterhole.
Evening wildlife viewing from the lodge’s decks as elephants, buffaloes, and other forest animals visit
the waterhole.
Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.
After breakfast enjoy game drive as you head back to Nairobi for hotel or airport drop-off.
