Kenya greatest wildlife and its most beautiful coastline in one extraordinary 13-day journey — this is the safari to end all safaris, combining six of Kenyas finest wildlife destinations with three nights of absolute luxury on the Indian Ocean coast. You open in Samburu, where the drama of Africa northern frontier — Ewaso Ngiro River, doum palms and thornbush — provides the backdrop for encounters with reticulated giraffe, Grevys zebra, lion and Samburu famous large-tusked elephants. Meru National Park follows, a vast wilderness of rivers and grassland where born-free country delivers rewarding sightings of rhino, lion and enormous herds of elephant. Lake Nakuru provides the classic rhino and flamingo experience in the Rift Valley. Two nights in the Masai Mara deliver Africas finest wildlife theatre, before Amboseli offers its incomparable Kilimanjaro panorama and gentle elephant encounters. Complete Samburu day with all Northern Five species, river elephant encounters and a specialist birding session. Night drive option.
Samburu to Meru National Park
Drive east to Meru — wild, rarely visited and genuinely extraordinary. Elsa the lioness lived and died here, and her story still shapes this park.
Full Day Meru — The Wild Heart of Kenya
White rhino, massive elephant families, lion, leopard and the sheer wilderness experience of a park receiving very few visitors.
Meru to Lake Nakuru — Rift Valley
Long scenic drive west to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon rhino and flamingo game drives.
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Morning Nakuru drive then southwest to the Mara. Arriving for golden afternoon game drive.
