Collected from JKIA airport, you drive southwest to the Masai Mara. Your luxury tented camp sits inside a private conservancy adjoining the reserve, with exclusive game drives on land the public cannot access. Afternoon drive introduces the Big Five landscape.
Full Day Masai Mara — Big Five Game Drives
A complete Mara day at your most exclusive luxury camp. Angama's elevated position 500 feet above the Mara valley floor offers the most dramatic sunrise views in Kenya — your breakfast table overlooks the entire ecosystem. Morning and afternoon drives with expert resident guides.
Final Mara Morning & Charter Flight to Diani Beach
One last game drive before a mid-morning charter flight south from the Mara to Ukunda airstrip above Diani Beach. The flight takes 1.5 hours, delivering spectacular aerial views of the Tsavo wilderness and the Indian Ocean coast.
Diani Beach — Ocean, Reef & Relaxation
Diani Beach — consistently voted Africa's Best Beach — is 25 km of white coral sand backed by a green canopy of coastal forest. The warm Indian Ocean is 28°C year-round. Morning snorkelling on the fringing coral reef (equipment provided), afternoon at leisure. Swahili seafood dinner at the villa as dhow sails past at sunset.
Mombasa Old Town & Dhow Cruise
Morning excursion to historic Mombasa Old Town: Fort Jesus (a 16th century Portuguese fort and UNESCO World Heritage Site), the narrow Swahili alleys of the old dhow port, and the extraordinary blend of Arab, Indian and African architecture that makes Mombasa unique. Afternoon dhow sunset cruise along the coast with fresh seafood and local music.
Diani Beach — Free Day & Water Sports
A completely free day at the beach. Optional activities include deep sea fishing (extra cost), kitesurfing lessons, horse riding on the beach at sunrise, or glass-bottom boat trip to the reef. The Colobus Conservation Centre nearby protects the endangered Angolan colobus monkeys that live in the coastal forest.
Final Morning on the Indian Ocean
Last morning swim and breakfast on the terrace before transfer to Moi International Airport or a return charter flight to Nairobi JKIA.
